How do I enter the series?
You are automatically entered whenever you finish one of our races that is
part of the series (see list below). Sign-up quickly, races are selling out
fast!
How does the point system work? You get one point for
every mile you run. You get additional points if you place in your age
group. For third place, you get 2x the amount of miles you ran, for second
place, you get 3x, and first place you get 4x. Example: If you ran a
marathon and placed first in your age group, you get 26.2*4=104.8 points.
The more races you run, the more points you get.
What are the prizes?
The male and female that come out of the series with the most points will be
crowned KING and QUEEN of the mountain. They will receive personalized
commemorative award plaques, 3 free 2010 Enviro-Venture Trail Series Race
credits, an Enviro-Sports running cap and a fleece with an embroidered
Enviro-Sports logo . The top 10 male and female runners will each receive 1
free 2010 Enviro-Venture Trail Series Race credit and an Enviro-Sports
running cap.
How do I find out how many points I have?
You can view the points
online here (sorted by most points to least, then alphabetical by last
name). It takes a couple weeks after each race for the overall point sheet
to be updated.
Enviro-Sports also has 3 races participating in the
TrailRunner Trophy Series this year. You will automatically be entered
into the series if you participate in any of these three races involved.
